An Entity relationship diagram or ERD is a structural diagram of database design. ERD contain 3 words, Entity, relationship and Diagram. When we talk about entities in ERD, very frequently we are mentioning to business objects such as people/roles teacher), tangible business objects (Products), intangible business objects Log), etc. 2nd on is "Relationship". Relationship in ERD is about how these entities related to each other within the system you may have already listen or read about 1 to 1 relation 1 to many etc. And last one is diagram which is structural form of these ideas.
